This second-quarter report is not just a summary of activities—it's living proof that God continues to write stories where others only see limits:
In Ecuador, 250 pastors broke free from conventional molds to embrace Christ-centered leadership. In the Peruvian Amazon, the Gospel showed its power in territories forgotten by maps but never by the Spirit. And in my own life, an Ironman race became a living parable: broken ankles and surgeries were not the end, but training for something greater.
What connects seemingly unrelated moments—a seminary in Lima, a business dinner in São Paulo, and a migrant shelter in Quito? The conviction that the Kingdom expands wherever faith and action are intertwined.
This quarter has taught us that:
1. Regional unity (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru) is not just a slogan, but a tangible force when leaders align with one vision.
2. Training (SEMISUD, CTM Brazil, mentorships) is the bridge between calling and harvest.
3. Challenging grounds (indigenous communities, business spheres) are where the Church proves its authenticity.
God doesn’t call us to be the fastest, but the most faithful. The fruits documented here—graduations, pastoral mentoring, workshops for entrepreneurs, church planting—are not finish lines but seeds for a harvest just beginning.

The Church of God in Ecuador successfully held its National Ministers’ Assembly, attended by over 250 pastors from across the nation.
A defining moment of the event was the powerful message delivered by Dr. Cruz Paniagua, who spoke on the spiritual responsibility all believers carry toward the Church—the Bride of Christ. His address not only strengthened those present but also set the spiritual tone for the entire gathering, reinforcing the pastors’ commitment to Christ-centered, mission-driven leadership.

North South America Strengthened
During the second week of April, Dr. Cruz Paniagua marked a historic milestone for the Church of God in North South America, personally leading a series of strategic meetings marked by purpose, clarity, and profound pastoral vision. As Superintendent, he convened national leaders from all four countries in the region—Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru—guiding each session with a spiritual approach that wove together direction, renewal, and unity.
With fresh vision and ignited hearts, these regional leaders have returned to their territories equipped to advance. The Kingdom expands… and North South America stands firm, shepherded by leadership that remains steadfast in its calling and mission.

Mentoring Session for Pastor's Kids
On April 25-26, an enriching Mentoring Session was held for pastors' children from Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Colombia—a space designed to strengthen their spiritual growth and reaffirm their purpose.
Conducted virtually, the event featured Dr. Cruz Paniagua as the keynote speaker, delivering a powerful address titled "A Legacy of Faith." Through his message, attendees were challenged to:

From "Crazy Idea" to Lifestyle
Cruz Paniagua's Transformation Story
What began in 2021 as an impulsive challenge—an Ironman 43.6 mi—evolved into a passion, a therapy, and a profound metaphor for life. To many, triathlon is an extreme sport; for him, it became a sanctuary of silence, reflection, and conversations with God (which is why he never wears headphones).
Life’s ironies: A man with mild ADHD, hyperactivity, and focus challenges discovered his greatest mental and spiritual clarity in the discipline of swim-bike-run. But the journey was far from smooth:
- 2022: A twisted ankle… in church, not training!
- 2023: Spinal surgery for a herniated disc (from a traffic accident).
- 2024: A year of slow recovery, where celebrating a single kilometer of running felt as emotional as crossing a finish line.
Yet on Sunday, April 27, he conquered 43.6 mi in Lima, Peru; with personal records in all three disciplines. But this isn’t the end: it’s just training for his next leap—a full Ironman (140.4 mi).
The Real Victory
Beyond the miles, this journey has taught him that limits are often mental. That when you mix faith, discipline, and perseverance, the impossible becomes attainable. It’s not about being the fastest—but about surpassing yourself—a lesson that applies equally to sport and spiritual life.
“It’s not normal,” “You’re crazy,” “Can pastors even do that?” The comments are endless, but the joy of talking to God while cycling under the sun, or defying odds to cross a finish line, is priceless.

On Tuesday, May 27, in São Paulo, Brazil, the Connect Entrepreneurs Dinner was a night marked by inspiration and spiritual connection. In this space of fellowship and reflection, Dr. Cruz Paniagua played a key role, steering the conversation toward Kingdom-aligned business leadership.

Ministry and Academic Events
During the weekend of June 21, several significant activities took place in the city of Quito, Ecuador, as part of the ministerial and academic commitments of the Church of God in Northern South America.
The annual board meeting, the commissioning service, and the official graduation ceremony at SEMISUD-FLEREC were held, where 26 students from the Northern South America region successfully completed their training process. Additionally, a time of ministry was held in the community of Tolontag, with the participation of Dr. Cruz Paniagua and Pastor Derek Wooten, who led a session of teaching, ministry, and fellowship with the congregation.

In the last week of June 2025, Dr. Cruz Paniagua, along with Pastor Derek, served as a keynote speaker at the Pastors’ Conference in Manta, Ecuador. This significant event brought together over 150 pastors from the region.
Through interactive sessions and practical teachings, the conference introduced XPan Global’s holistic health model, emphasizing spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being. This conference marks the beginning of a strategic alliance designed to strengthen pastoral leadership in Manta.

Assisting the Most Vulnerables
As part of his recent itinerary in Ecuador, Dr. Cruz carried out intensive fieldwork, visiting the communities of El Aromo and Urbirrios. His purpose was to provide personalized mentorship and follow-up to leaders involved in church planting projects. He dedicated time to listen to each leader’s needs and celebrated their victories and progress in the evangelistic mission.
Additionally, a significant visit was made to the Migrant Refuge Center in Quito. There, Dr. Cruz, alongside Pastor Derek Wooten, witnessed powerful stories of transformation from individuals seeking new opportunities in Ecuador due to insecurity and violence in their home countries.
This encounter reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to continue serving those who need it most.

Equipping the Next Generation
To conclude the second quarter of the year, Dr. Cruz Paniagua made a meaningful visit to the Church of God in Peru.
During his time at the Bible Seminary in Lima, Dr. Paniagua shared moments of impactful training and fellowship with future ministry leaders. Through practical conferences, he addressed key topics relevant to contemporary ministry, equipping students to face today’s challenges. These sessions not only strengthened their academic knowledge but also reignited their passion for missions.

Strengthening the Amazon's Spiritual Leaders
Dr. Cruz Paniagua also delivered a transformative message at the Regional Training Sessions for the Eastern Region, held in the city of Pucallpa in the Peruvian Amazon. His teaching inspired dozens of pastors and leaders to deepen their calling, offering practical tools to face ministry challenges with faith and wisdom.
In addition, he led a conference specifically for pastors serving in the Amazon region, tackling pressing issues with an interactive approach and personal testimonies. Attendees left not only informed but deeply motivated to apply what they learned in their lives and churches.

Commitment to Indigenous Regions
Dr. Paniagua's visit to indigenous communities had the primary purpose of providing pastoral support, building up local leaders, and expanding the message of the Kingdom in geographically challenging—but spiritually fertile—territories. This time in Pucallpa, alongside Pastor Derek Wooten, reaffirmed a strong commitment to the most remote regions, highlighting the importance of a Church that is active, present, and transformational in every corner of Northern South America.
The second quarter of 2025 has witnessed the mighty hand of God moving through strategic gatherings, transformative ministerial training, and Kingdom expansion on multiple fronts. From a Strategic Leadership day in Mexico to the outreach in the Peruvian Amazon, each initiative has strengthened our commitment to leadership support, regional unity, and holistic mission.

7 Women Reached by the Love of God
Stories of Restoration
María, Katherine, Lisseth, Claudia, Gabriela, Mayra, and Jackelyn are women who, after facing various hardships, lost faith in life and had distanced themselves from God. However, during a time of deep inner searching, they chose to approach the Center for Migrants—some as volunteers. At first, they came out of curiosity, hoping to find a new sense of purpose.
Over time, something began to shift within them. As they engaged in the center’s work alongside other women, they witnessed a genuine love for others—one that gave them strength and hope amid their own struggles. They began to hear stories similar to their own, to read the Bible, to share their own journeys, and some even started attending local churches.
That’s when they realized that Christian faith is not just a religion, but a living and personal relationship with God.
This revelation brought renewal and transformation to their hearts. Their lives began to take on new meaning and direction.
Motivated by this newfound hope, they started sharing their faith with others and serving the women of the center with greater commitment. They have become leaders and role models—an inspiration to many other women.
Each of them is a living testimony of the transforming power of God's love. Their stories show that no matter where we are in life or what we’ve been through, there is always the possibility of a new beginning. God's love and faith can restore the human heart and bring purpose and meaning to life.
Key Achievements of the Quarter
Center for Migrants - Quito, Ecuador
Between April and June, the Center for Migrants made a significant impact across various regions of Ecuador, bringing hope to individuals and families affected by heavy rains, homelessness, and extreme poverty. Through the distribution of Bibles, food, clothing, and educational workshops, the center provided not only material assistance but also spiritual comfort and tools for personal transformation.
Deep Spiritual Impact:
More than 120 Bibles and 200 children's Bible storybooks were distributed, fostering spiritual growth.
Food Security:
Food supplies were delivered to over 160 families, ensuring they had the necessary resources to sustain themselves.
Support and Development for Women:
Workshops and ongoing follow-up were provided to a group of 35 women, promoting their personal growth and well-being.
Crisis Relief:
Clothing was distributed to 750 people affected by heavy rains along Ecuador’s coast and in Quito, as well as to individuals experiencing homelessness, offering comfort and support.

Anastasia Colmenarez
In a world that often distracts young people with fleeting voices, we find stories that remind us of the transforming power of God’s love.
Today, we have the privilege of sharing the testimony of Anastasia, a young girl whose life is flourishing in the ways of the Lord—proving that age is no barrier when it comes to serving with passion.
After just six months of attending church and at only 12 years old, Anastasia has not settled for being a spectator. From the very beginning, her heart responded to God’s call, and today she is one of the most enthusiastic and committed young members of our congregation.
Even while navigating the delicate transition between childhood and adolescence, Anastasia has chosen to set aside doubts and fears to embrace her purpose. Her involvement in the dance ministry reflects not only her talents but also her desire to worship God with her whole being.
But her story doesn’t end there. One of the most beautiful fruits of her walk with Christ is the impact it has had at home. Her mother, Marines Martínez, has also found refuge in faith, faithfully attending a women’s small group and becoming a strong pillar in our church. Together, mother and daughter are a living testimony that God not only transforms individuals—but entire families.
Anastasia teaches us that no heart is too young, and no situation too difficult, for God to move. Her life is a powerful reminder that when we plant seeds of faith in the young, He causes them to grow beyond what we could imagine.

Today, we give glory to God for what He is doing in Anastasia and her family, and we join in prayer that her light continues to shine, inspiring many more to surrender their talents and dreams to the Lord.
Key Achievements of the Quarter
Feeding Center - Valencia, Venezuela
During the months of April, May, and June 2025, the Feeding Center achieved a significant impact on its community, reaching over 400 people through various evangelistic and service-oriented activities.
Broad Community Outreach:
The lives of 183 children and youth were impacted through Bible teachings and the distribution of 952 meals and beverages as part of mission projects in the communities of El Progreso, Tinajas, and Boquerón.
Internal Ministry Strengthening:
Internal departments such as Worship Ministry and the Children’s Bible School benefited 60 children and youth through biblical instruction and the provision of 250 meals and beverages.
Growth in Small Groups:
New cell groups have reached 35 individuals—including children, youth, and adults—strengthening their faith through the study of God’s Word.
Dynamic Youth Evangelism:
The youth program reached and evangelized 194 young people through services and outreach visits in various communities.
Impactful Social Outreach:
On May 10, in partnership with La Isabélica Baptist Church (IBI), more than 150 people were served through donations of clothing and shoes, recreational activities, and the distribution of over 150 servings of soup and drinks, along with a message of hope.
Meaningful Celebrations:
Approximately 110 women were honored during the 2025 Mother’s Day Celebration, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to family well-being.

Gema Jaramillo’s Story
During this quarter, the Transformation Center has been greatly enriched by the active participation of Gema Jaramillo, a healthcare professional whose background as a nurse has significantly enhanced the ministry. Her integration into the leadership team reflects not only her spiritual commitment but also her ability to bring her professional skills into community service.
Gema initially attended Sunday services sporadically, invited by her in-laws, who are part of the church’s leadership team. Over time, however, her involvement blossomed into an active commitment, driven by a genuine desire to contribute to multiple areas of ministry.
A month ago, she officially took on the role of youth group leader, where she has demonstrated strong leadership and empathy. Her positive influence has also extended to her family—her husband Emilio has increased his participation and is now part of a Sunday discipleship small group
One of Gema’s most impactful contributions has been the launch of a four-week basic nursing course for local teenagers. This workshop not only provided practical health knowledge but also strengthened connections with the youth, proving that professional talents can be powerful tools for ministry.
Currently, Gema is involved in a coach training program—an intentional initiative aimed at building relationships with young people through sports as a bridge to transformational discipleship. Her involvement in this project highlights her holistic view of service, skillfully combining faith, education, and social outreach.
Gema Jaramillo exemplifies the model of a committed leader whose professional and spiritual life are woven together to impact the community. Her testimony reinforces the value of using our gifts in service to God, inspiring others to follow her example.

Transformation Center - Manta, Ecuador
During the second quarter of 2025, the Transformation Center continued serving the community through a variety of initiatives focused on personal, athletic, and spiritual development.
Nail Art Training for Young Women:
An average of 25 girls benefited from nail art training, gaining a valuable skill that empowers them to pursue economic independence within Manabí’s thriving beauty industry.
Leadership Development Through “Saved by Soccer”:
Training began for five soccer coaches who are now mentoring 23 local youth (ages 13 to 15). Through this sports-based discipleship program, they are developing future leaders—and potentially professional athletes—while offering new opportunities for life transformation.
Weekly Discipleship Classes:
Saturday discipleship classes continued, reaching 70 to 80 boys and girls (ages 11 to 16) each week. The program emphasizes spiritual growth and strong faith formation.
Relational Evangelism Strategies:
Weekend activities with children and teens are designed to build trust through relational evangelism, strengthening community bonds and delivering a message of hope.

From Restlessness to Leadership
Mauricio’s Story of Transformation
When Mauricio first arrived at our foundation, he was a restless and defiant child. Distracted, disruptive, and with a vocabulary shaped by pain, he seemed disconnected from learning and lacked respect for his peers. But his story didn’t end there.
Seven months later, the change in Mauricio is undeniable. Today, he participates actively in activities, follows instructions with enthusiasm, and shows a genuine desire to learn. Most significantly, he has come to know Jesus—and that encounter is reflected in his daily attitude.

Vida Refuge Center - San Felipe, Yaracuy - Venezuela
During this quarter, the Vida Refuge Center has made an extraordinary impact, establishing a new church and providing comprehensive support to children and families in the most vulnerable communities.
Spiritual and Community Growth:
A new church has been established, with 47 children and 17 adults actively engaged in ongoing discipleship, receiving weekly spiritual, physical, and intellectual support.
Specialized Psychological Support:
Specialized care has been provided to 14 children, positively impacting and transforming entire families through emotional healing.
Sustained Humanitarian Aid:
We continue supporting the most vulnerable communities by distributing clothing and food, with 1,161 meals and 890 items—including clothing, shoes, medicines, and school supplies—delivered this quarter.
Investing in the Future:
Uniforms were purchased for children in the El Corozo church plant, including 56 polo shirts, 60 drawstring bags, and 37 pairs of shoes, all distributed on 07/03/2025.
Widespread Reach:
Thanks to your support and prayers, Vida Refuge Center continues to be part of the life stories of 387 children served this quarter! The impact spans 5 communities across 3 municipalities in the state of Yaracuy (San Felipe, Independencia, and Cocorote), benefiting 95 families.

From April to June, we provided mentorship and guidance to 256 individuals in Key Areas of Spiritual Formation, Emotional and Physical Health, Church multiplication, mentoring and leadership development.
These training sessions—delivered both virtually and in-person—represented +90 hours of dedicated, hands-on work.
This is the story of Luz Marina, a pastor from Venezuela, who found the guidance she needed through XPan Global during a season filled with challenges. Through training and mentorship, Luz Marina received tools for holistic development—spiritual, physical, emotional, and cognitive—which brought significant improvement to her personal life, her family, and her church. She is a witness to how XPan Global’s transformative vision has brought family unity and a remarkable increase in blessings.
